Keep your tools and migrations
Connect through standard PostgreSQL credentials from your server-side application. Use SQL, your preferred ORM and your existing migration workflow. Your schema stays under your control. Store connection secrets in your server environment, and keep browser clients behind your application API.
Operate projects from one place
Create a project, inspect its state and connection details, rotate credentials, stop or start it, and review activity. Each project has its own database, credentials and container on a shared host. The customer database role can manage its application schema; it is not a PostgreSQL superuser.
Size for your workload, not just your data
Storage size alone does not determine how an application performs. Concurrent connections, query duration, indexes and memory use matter too. Per project, Starter provides 0.5 CPU, 1 GiB and 50 customer connections; Business provides 1 CPU, 2 GiB and 100 connections; Studio provides 2 CPU, 4 GiB and 150 connections. Use an application connection pool within your limit, index frequent queries and paginate large results. Resources apply to newly activated projects; existing projects retain their recorded configuration until a reviewed upgrade.
A database foundation for SaaS and AI applications
Store product records, transactions, conversation metadata and structured application data in PostgreSQL. Bring your own application authentication, file storage and AI model provider. GPU compute, model inference, managed embeddings and managed vector search are not part of the standard database plans. Discuss required extensions and performance expectations with us before activation.
